I am a qualified nurse and health visitor who had a career change 18 years ago and I've been teaching ever since. The last nine years have been spent in a primary academy for children with complex learning difficulties. I believe children should have fun while they are working and I am very creative in supporting this, whilst ensuring all safeguarding measures are in place and educational needs are met. I am passionate about outdoor learning and use these resources wherever possible.

Outside of work I enjoy pilates, walking, travel, craft projects (some are even finished!)  and reading.
